Text-Based Courses

CENAPS offers Continuing Education (CE) credit for our home study courses.

To earn CE credits for any CENAPS-Gorski Home Study and receive a certificate of completion, participants must complete an assessment demonstrating they completed the home study. Upon completion of course assessment, certificates are emailed or available for download.

Continuing Education credit descriptions

for Gorski-CENAPS independent home study courses

  • One (1) CE credit (or credit hour) = sixty (60) minutes of education time.

  • One (1) CE hour (60 minutes of education time) is offered for each 6,000 words of the text associated with the home study course. Text of less that 6000 words is measured on a proportionated basis, e.g. 1500 words of text is equivalent to a quarter hours (0.25).

The CENAPS Corporation (Provider #62660) is an Approved Education Provider (Tier C and Distance Learning Organization) through NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals.
