This course will address the patterns of behavior that lure individuals into mindless scrolling (on various platforms) that intrude into our time and productivity, in a way that disengages us from the mainstream of life. Participants will discover the psychological, emotional, physical, and spiritual toll these habitual practices expose us to and how the Gorski-CENAPS Model is applied when addressing on-line gambling, pornography, and other screen addictions.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this homestudy course, the participant will be able to:

  • Develop strategies to disarm the downward trajectory of aimless screen time.

  • Develop with intentionality stated core values that support an overarching belief system that discourages problem behaviors and assists in preventing relapse.
